Trainerize, TrueCoach & Everfit alternative

Built for trainers who’d rather coach than click

wagmi.fit next to Trainerize, TrueCoach and Everfit: workouts that build as you type them, meals logged from a sentence or a photo, and one flat $25 a month.

15-day free trial · $25/mo after · unlimited clients

Illustration: on the left, a typical form-based workout builder, where the trainer searches the exercise list for “row”, steps past three rowing lifts to pick the rowing machine, fills in the time, picks an effort from a menu and types “or bike” into a notes field, before adding the next exercise and searching again. On the right, the wagmi.fit editor, where the trainer types a warm-up of “row or bike 5 mins moderate” and “deadlift warm-up 1x5 empty bar, 1x5x60kg”, then “A. barbell deadlift 3x10x120, rest 90s, B. goblet squat 3x12, C. push-ups 3x10-15”, and the client’s phone fills in all five exercises, each with its picture, as each line is typed.

Programming

Most AI builders write a program for you. Ours reads yours.

Trainerize, TrueCoach, Everfit and PT Distinction all have AI builders now: describe a goal or fill in a few fields, get a draft, then edit it. That can be useful, and wagmi.fit has an assistant too. The difference is where you start. You write the session the way you already would, in your own shorthand, and every line turns into sets as you type it.

What you type

Let's do two sets of ten on goblet squats. Then row for four minutes. Keep the squats slow, and if the knee hurts use the box version.

Or upload what you already have

A PDF, a spreadsheet, a Word document, or a photo of a program written by hand. It goes through the same reader as your typing, so it lands in the same editor as text you can check and change. There is no one-click import from another platform; this is how you bring your programs across.

AI Assistant

Ask for workout edits, additions, or formatting.

Add a short warm-up section for this workout Add a cooldown section after the main work Fit this into a 45-minute session Make this more beginner-friendly without changing the goal

Ask AI to edit this workout...

And an assistant, when you want one

Ask it for a warm-up, a cooldown, a shorter session or an easier version. It writes the change into your editor in the same shorthand, and you keep it, edit it or undo it. It works on your program; it does not replace it.

Nutrition

Food logging your clients will actually keep up with

Most food logs, in trainer apps and out of them, still start with a database search. In wagmi.fit your client writes what they ate the way they would text you, or snaps a photo. It drafts the foods, portions, calories and macros, and the meal is on your side the moment they save it, right next to their training.

  • Nothing is saved until your client taps Save
  • One question, only when it changes the numbers
  • Numbers can be hidden for clients who do better without them

What the others do with food

  • TrueCoach MyFitnessPal sync only. Clients log in MyFitnessPal and the numbers come across.
  • Hevy Coach No food logging built in.
  • PT Distinction The closest: a food diary where clients write what they ate and add a photo.
  • Everfit A food journal on Pro and up; meal plans and recipes are a paid add-on.
  • Trainerize, My PT Hub Food tracking built in. Advanced nutrition is an add-on on Trainerize.
See how nutrition works

Example: a client types “2 eggs scrambled on toast w butter, black coffee, and like a handful of blueberries” and attaches a photo of the plate. The app drafts five items with calories, macros and portions, asks whether the eggs were cooked in butter, oil or milk, and saves the meal only when the client taps Save. The trainer then sees “Jordan logged 1 meal today · 361 kcal so far”.

Leads and follow-up

From first enquiry to paying client, in the same $25

Replies from Typeform or Jotform and bookings from Calendly or Cal.com land on the lead. Follow-ups, no-show chasing and check-ins come switched on with sensible defaults, and automatic follow-up of brand-new leads stays off until you turn it on in Settings. Elsewhere this tends to be a second bill. Trainerize’s business automations are a $25/mo add-on, Everfit’s Autoflow starts at $24/mo, and TrueCoach’s run through Zapier. PT Distinction is the exception: automations come with every plan.

Pricing at scale

Your price shouldn’t climb every time you sign a client

Most platforms price by roster size, and nutrition, payments or automations can cost extra on top. wagmi.fit is $25 a month from your first client to your hundredth, and past it.

Monthly price, by how many clients you coach

At 25 clients, wagmi.fit is $25 a month; the lowest listed price among the others is Hevy Coach’s, at $50, and the highest is TrueCoach’s, at $164.98.

  • wagmi.fitTrainer plan, unlimited clients$25
  • TrainerizePro 30~$79
  • TrueCoachPro, up to 50 clients$164.98
  • EverfitPro, 35 clients, billed monthly$75
  • PT DistinctionPro, 25 clients included$59.90
  • My PT HubPremium, unlimited clients$59
  • Hevy Coach11–25 clients$50

Month-to-month list prices in US dollars, September 2026, for the cheapest plan that covers that many clients. Add-ons are not included. Everfit's roster tiers were rechecked in October 2026. “~” is an approximation. In fairness, My PT Hub’s Premium plan and PT Distinction are the closest to flat pricing.

Our take

When one of them is the better choice

wagmi.fit is built for independent trainers who program a lot and run the business themselves. If that is not you, one of these will probably suit you better.

Trainerize

You run a studio with staff

Several trainers, several locations, a front desk. Trainerize’s Studio plans are built for that. wagmi.fit is built for one trainer running their own business, and team plans are not live yet.

Several trainers on one account

  • Trainerize Studio plans
  • wagmi.fit One trainer per account today
Hevy Coach

You only need workouts logged

No nutrition, no payments, no lead pipeline. Hevy Coach keeps it simple, and for up to 10 clients it costs the same $25 a month we do.

Monthly price at 10 clients

  • Hevy Coach $25
  • wagmi.fit $25
PT Distinction

You want flat-ish pricing with automations included

PT Distinction is the closest to how we think about pricing, and its automations come with every plan. The difference is how you build a program and how your clients log their food.

Automated follow-ups and check-ins

  • PT Distinction Every plan
  • wagmi.fit Included in the $25 plan
TrainerizeTrueCoach

You want a long track record

We are newer. We don’t have the years of reviews or the ecosystem of integrations that Trainerize and TrueCoach have built. The fairest test is 15 days with your real clients.

Questions, answered

Questions trainers ask before switching

Can I move my programs and clients over from Trainerize or TrueCoach?

Yes, though not in one click. There is no direct import from another platform. Upload your programs as PDFs, spreadsheets, Word documents or photos, and wagmi.fit reads them into the same editor you type in, ready to check and assign. Clients come across from a CSV file. Moving at the start of a new training block is easiest on everyone.

Do my clients get an app with my branding?

No. There is no white-label or custom-branded app. Your clients use the wagmi.fit app on iOS and Android, or the web. If your own name in the App Store matters to your business, Trainerize, TrueCoach, Everfit, PT Distinction and My PT Hub all offer a branded app, some as a paid add-on.

Can I message my clients in wagmi.fit?

Yes. There is in-app chat on the web and in the client app, with push notifications on the phone. Messages sent automatically go through the same chat and are marked Automated, so your client knows which ones you wrote.

Can it send check-ins and follow-ups automatically?

Yes, and it is part of the $25 plan. Out of the box, with sensible defaults, wagmi.fit chases an overdue lead follow-up, follows up a no-show, sends a scheduled check-in and chases it, and welcomes a client the first time they open the app. Automatic follow-up of new leads who go quiet is off until you turn it on in Settings › New leads. Anything an automation cannot decide shows up in your notifications with a one-click action instead of going out on its own.

What doesn’t wagmi.fit do yet?

A white-label client app, group classes, wearable sync, meal plans and grocery lists, and plans for studios with several trainers. There is no one-click migration from another platform, and nutrition does not sync with MyFitnessPal or Cronometer. If one of those is a must-have today, one of the platforms above will suit you better.

How does wagmi.fit pricing work?

One plan: $25 a month after a 15-day free trial, with unlimited clients. Programming, nutrition, leads, automations, payments and the client app are all in it, with no per-client charge. When clients pay you through Stripe, you pay Stripe’s processing fees and wagmi.fit adds nothing on top.
